At Preeminent Physio, All our staff endeavour to provide optimum care to our patients.

Our clinic is conveniently located at the intersection of Eltham, Montmorency, Lower Plenty and Templestowe. It was first established in Diamond Creek and moved to Eltham in 2003 as Phillip Hughes Physiotherapy. The perfection and high quality of services have never changed!

Chong Yao

Principal Physiotherapist

Excellent patient care and high quality serivce to solve patients' problems is what Chong always aims for. And that is exactly how Chong is able to achieve best possible outcomes for our patients. Chong does very comprehensive assessment, not only to treat the pain but also identify the underlying causes. We also work closely with our local GPs and keep good communications to maintain our high standard patient care. Chong has a wide range of experience of working in different areas of physiotherapy including Musculoskeletal, Hydrotherapy, Pilates, Sports and Rehabilitation etc. Chong's special interests are Sports, Rehabilitaion and Musculoskeletal particularly neck and shoulder. Treatment modalities used in our clinic are highly evidence based to ensure the best outcome possible for out patients.

 

Nino La Scala

Senior Sports Physiotherapist

Nino graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 1995, and went on to complete a Master of Physiotherapy (Sports Physiotherapy) in 2011 at the University of Melbourne. He has extensive knowledge in the treatment of sporting injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, having worked in leading sports medicine centres in both Melbourne and Sydney. His previous sporting team involvements include, the Australian Socceroos (FIFA World Cup 2018), Olyroos and Young Socceroos U/20 Football teams, Melbourne Heart and Melbourne Victory football teams, along with various other AFL and ARL codes. His other interests include performance medicine, having worked as a physiotherapist for the stage musical production “WICKED”. In 2014 Nino returned from a two and a half year world tour with the Cirque Du Soleil production “QUIDAM”
